Drawing and painting directly from life is essential to create a point of engagement with my subject. The process of observation stimulates a visual inquiry which enables me to produce a response in terms of colour, space and light. In this way I hope to convey something deeper felt.
I attended the Royal Drawing School as a public programme student. Previously, I worked as a lawyer. I now live and work in Devon.
